Lilian

Lilian is an enigma, a suggestive glance, inspired by the impressions made by people I know and a couple of very seductive stars from ages past. Colored pencil on paper. 11″ x 14″

Face In Frame Remixed

Face In Frame is a twice-remixed original painting started as a 5×8″ ballpoint pen drawing, became a digital chiaroscuro piece, and was finally printed out, varnished, repainted and drawn at 28×44″.

Cubisto Remixed

The original drawing is 3×5″ black ink on paper. I scanned it and created an 8×10″ photoshop re-tooling to bring out depth and subtlety through the use of translucent layers. Then I printed out at 14×20″ and varnished it, drew and painted over with Conté crayon and acrylic paint.

We Are Stardust

What started (and may well end) as a tattoo idea manifests as a layered digital and physical drawing with office pen ink, varnish and conte crayon.

We Are Stardust

Psychic Artifact

This drawing started as a failed portrait which instead evolved into its own entity. An artifact. A mask. A confluence of clouds in our mind, behind our eyelids when serotonin runs low.

Globule

I imagine arbitrary worlds within worlds, made with no other function than to satisfy the rhythm of our momentary imagination, to harmonize with the alien song our neurons paint behind our eyelids, in the back of our yearning minds.
